As I sit here and hold my daughter, I am thankful God has allowed me to know unconditional love. She’s so beautiful in every way, I sit here still just so I can feel her breathing as she lays on my chest.
Ever since she was born this is the place she has always rested best, on Mama. And nothing makes me more happy than to feel the love she has for me, and she’s not even said, “I love you, Mama” yet.
It amazes me how far God has brought us. When she was in the Nicu, I can’t begin to explain how many tears I’ve cried, or how many prayers I’ve prayed. God gave us a second chance, a chance to love each other.
I am her Mama, and I would do anything in the world for my child. There is nothing in this world that could take away my love for her. There are no amount of words I could form to explain how much I love this girl.
How much more does our Heavenly Father love us?
The love He has for us runs so much deeper than we can ever understand. We just don’t have the capability to wrap our minds around it. Even when you are far away, He is forever calling your name.
He wants you to know He loves you more deeply than you’ve ever known by any mere human. The love this world can give cannot compare to the love of the Father. Psalm 27:10 says, “Even when your mother and father forsake you, the Lord will take you up.”
He means that. You are His child, which means he loves you unconditionally, and He is taking care of you. No matter what comes your way in life, you can trust He won’t leave you alone.
He is always there, even when you are far away. Even if you never knew your mother of father, for that reason much more does He want to show you how much He treasures you.
He gave everything so that you would lack nothing. As much as I love my daughter, it is no comparison to how much He loves her, and how much He loves me and you.
When you have a child, you will understand true love. You would do nothing to hurt them, you always place their needs above your own. That unconditional love you feel for your child, that is how the Father feels about you.
You can put your trust in Him today. You don’t have to walk this world alone. You are missing out on so much when you choose to not embrace His love for all it is.
But know this, you are never too far from His love.
No matter how far you run, His love engulfs you, whether or not you want it too. He wants to give you his peace, to know you don’t have to face the world alone.
He is with you EVERY, SINGLE second of the day, and He promises not to leave you as orphans.
You can rest assured in His perfect love for you today. God has got you, and He promises to never leave you.

“For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Soirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit of himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”
“He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.”
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.”
