8 Things You Need To Speak Over Yourself Each Day
By: Tiffany Langford
We live in a culture that tells us we are everything less than perfect. We have been taught from a young age to blend in, and that society’s view of us is how we should judge our worth. The standards of this world are not where we should place our value. Our worth is not up for discussion.
Growing up, I had convinced myself that I just wasn’t good in anyway. I wasn’t even good enough for myself, let alone anyone else. I measured my worth by the standards of this world instead of by God’s holy word. But something I have come to realize is this;
There is nothing more astounding than a woman who knows and understands her worth in Christ.
She doesn’t measure her success by this world’s standards, but rather by the one who died on the cross for her sins.
I am striving to be this woman daily. I fall short often, but I am thankful that His love and grace picks me back up again each day. He sees the best in me, even when I see no good thing in myself. I pray to empty myself of this world each day, because even when I’m full of the world, I still feel so empty. But when I fill myself with Jesus, I no longer feel empty inside.
The enemy wants to convince you that you will never be good enough for anyone, but you are a daughter of God, chosen by Him and molded in His image. He dreamed of you, and made you beautiful. Don’t give into the enemy’s lies that try to keep you from seeing yourself through the eyes of God. When you see yourself through His eyes, there is no limit on what you can accomplish for the kingdom.
Here are eight things that you should look in the mirror each day and say to yourself, especially when the enemy is attacking;
1. I am worthy
Dreamed up in the heart of God, you can’t imagine the heights to which He longs to take you. You are precious in His sight, He looks on you with love and admiration. You are a woman of great worth, whether or not you have grasped onto that concept yet. Before you were formed in the womb, He knew you and set you apart. You are full of purpose and He has called you to reach the nations.
2. I am chosen
You are pregnant with destiny. God has chosen you and placed you on this earth for such a time as this. Of course the enemy would attack your worth, because God’s design is to show you just how much you are worth to Him. You are more precious than rubies and pearls!

3. I am cherished
You are cherished and loved by the King. He calls you lovely one. When it feels like no one else loves you, you can rest assured that the King of all kings is crazy about you. He takes pride in you, and never wants you to feel broken and insecure. Rest in the understanding that you are cherished, beautiful girl.
4. God has a plan for me
God’s plan for your life far succeeds what anyone of this world would have to say. God’s plan is to prosper you and to give you hope and a future. It is not His plan that you should live broken or in fear, He doesn’t want to harm you. Your future far succeeds today’s troubles. You have big things ahead of you!
5. I matter
Your heart does not deserved to be played with, and your emotions deserve the uttermost respect. You are cherished and loved, You matter to God. He gave his life for you to show you just how much you matter to Him. Do not accept anything less of this truth.
6. I am a child of God
You are chosen by God and appointed for such a time as this. You are the apple of His eye. He gives good gifts to his children and is so proud of you. You are going to reach the world. Sometimes we have to be broken in order to bring forth all that God has called us to be. Stand unashamed in who you are and declare you’re worth, you are a child of the one true king!
7. I am beautiful
Society’s standards of beauty are not what define you. Christ is the only one who defines your worth and that topic is not up for debate. He calls you beautiful, you are his lovely one. The King is in awe of your beauty, whether or not you see it in yourself.
8. I am loved
The King is crazy about you. He loves you more in a lifetime than a thousand of the best lovers ever could. He has his best in store for you. He is captivated by your beauty and longs to fill your heart with hope, joy, and peace, that your cup may continuously run over. You are treasured beyond all the wealth in this world.
I pray today that you would open the eyes of your sons and daughters. I pray your love sweeps over them like an ocean, and I pray you minister to the person reading this. Show them just how much you love them, how much they are worth to you, and that your love is unconditional through and through. I thank you that you don’t look at our outward circumstances, you look upon our hearts and have destined greatness in us. Reveal your heart to your people that they may walk in your truth.
In Jesus name,
